Hello,
Please find attached a patch adding a complete Irish (language code ga)
translation for Proxmox VE.
The translation aims to provide consistent Irish terminology for
technical UI elements such as storage, networking, and system operations.
I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Hey Aindriú,
sadly it seems that the attachment was stripped. Can you send the
changes as a patch [1] that is send as the email's body instead of as an
attachment?
Also if you haven't already, you will need to sign our CLA [2].
Thanks for your work and understanding!
Best regards,
Shannon

I really love that language, but AFAIK all native Irish speakers also speak English?
So this is additional work without any advantage? AFAIK, there are only 80K speakers worldwide (all English speakers)?

Hey Aindriú,
after some internal discussion, i just quickly wanted to follow up here
to say that Irish is likely not worth the trouble for us to maintain.
Points raised internally were that there aren't many Irish native
speakers that use it as their primary language [1] and that likely all
Irish speakers will also be able to use English.
Thanks for your trouble regardless.
Best regards,
Shannon

Thanks, this went under my radar back then.

While Irish is sadly not that wide-spread anymore, I'm still fine with
adding languages as long as there are actual users that use them.
But as heads up: we won't maintain those niche languages actively ourselves,
just like we don't do that for almost all other ones where we do not have
staff that speaks it at a native level. And if a language becomes very stale,
we might also drop it again (better no translation than a completely
outdated one), just as heads-up to manage expectations.
That said, proxmox-i18n is only one part, for the current ExtJS based UIs
(PVE, PBS, PMG) one needs also support in ExtJS, albeit that's rather minimal.
You can check the addition of the Georgian translations [0] in ExtJS for how
that could look like. I also added a build test [1] to ensure these extra
translations do not get lost again.
It'd be highly appreciated if you could submit these with git, but for me
also OK if you submit just these files attached, in that case write directly
to Maximiliano (in CC) and me to ensure the mailing list doesn't interferes
with the potentially big initial translation files.
