Dear Alex: Thanks for your words.
Let me clarify some points:
a VM uses two disks , I moved and converted both.
b Hardware changed ?... yes it has, (I wanted to share a picture but my
mail is dismissed with a "no content allowed" message).
Both platforms offer different hardware to guests so hardware, naturally
will change when moving between platforms.
c Regarding relevant services ...
First I noticed , is that XAMP platform was not running.
After cheking I confirmed that new guest didnt recognized network card, I
think it was due to drivers difference. (I had to install new driver).
Since some services are attached to listen to some interfaces / ips , those
services did not start at startup.
So....
After looking at network drive options I can confirm that can not set
exactly same driver.
Conclusion:
hard disk and network card are some of the devices should be same in order
to have a transparent migration.
Since (I think) it is not possible , it will be hard to smoothly complete
this migration.
Hope to hear your comments about this.
Leandro.
