That's odd, as zfs is not designed to return partial or corrupted data. Are
you sure that there was not something else at the "application" level
causing that ?
Also, do you happen to have any zfs snapshots available ? If yes, you could
try searching in there for the missing data.
Last thing to try would be to import the pool from a livecd, but I doubt
that would make a difference in your case.
