Subject: [PVE-User] Metrics (add/exclude) on a per node-or-vm basis?
Date: Fri, 28 Jan 2022 13:08:20 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <ADB0EF1D-CFC7-42EC-B0E9-7A65F0813F71@wolfspyre.com> (raw)
Hiya all!
I'm looking for the docs on how one might exclude certain node-scoped, or vm-scoped metrics from being emitted... say... the efi blockdev for VMs...
I don't see anything in the docs on how to politely ask the metrics emitter to just let certain metrics fall to the floor....
Am I just blind?
Additionally, I was looking for the best way, and any known pains/nuances to feed additional metrics INTO proxmox's metrics pipeline...
I have been considering just running a script to emit stuff upstream, which I can do, but I also figured there's value in exploring just feeding metrics to a daemon locally and letting the metrics configuration fed to proxmox control where they're emitted.
anyone else insane enough to want to do this? or am I the only... uh... crazy one here? :)
