many thanks for info !
we are still at PVE manager 6.4 (preparing to upgrade to v.7)
we have some nodes with the same netcard as yours and they work well 
with the following kernels

# pveversion
pve-manager/6.4-13/9f411e79 (running kernel: 5.4.128-1-pve)
# uname -a
Linux mox5 5.4.128-1-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.4.128-1 (Wed, 21 Jul 2021 18:32:02 
+0200) x86_64 GNU/Linux
# lspci |grep -i eth
