I've moved a node (a backup node) to a different switch, and now i catch
randomly:
Feb 22 17:14:20 pppve3 kernel: [108566.753151] vmbr0: received packet on bond0 with own address as source address (addr:a0:2b:b8:31:3a:5c, vlan:1)
All switches (Cisco and HP/Aruba) are connected via LACP trunks, STP
enabled.
Why?! Thanks.

If there were no changes in the configuration of the backup node, then I
would check for any loops on the switches (i.e double check cable
connectivity or see if you have accidentally enabled port mirroring on the
switch ports you connected this node to).

Agreed - saw this before, but only in Loop Situations/Spanning Tree - Errors
Most times it is a user who is plugging a cable he doesn´t know to a
port he doesn´t know and then unplugs ist caus nothing happens ;) this
might be your issue with "sometimes" ;)

I'm pretty sure there's no loops (a simple star-shaped network) but
effectively i've an STP configuration pratty basic, all switched in the same
priority.
I'll recheck STP configuration, do some test and give some feedback.
Thanks!

Make sure to check the mode of the bond with `ip link`.
We've seen these previously when the configured mode could not be set
for some reason and it defaulted to `balance-rr`.

Ah, damn me! Probably i've forgot to save a switch configuration, and in a
end of a LACP trunk there's no trunk at all.
Mistery and problem solved; so effectively was a loop. ;-)
