For applying them I'd require a `Signed-off-by: ...` git trailer though.
It would be great if you could resend this patch with the S-o-b.
If your name and email is already configured in git it would be a simple matter of
either amending the commit before sending it as patch here:
git commit --amend -s
or adding it during `git format-patch` or `git send-email` by adding the `-s` option
there.
