have to use unwrap_or(true) not unwrap_or_default() in the api... thanks

we just show what the api returns, this is what we get from the connect
function in the api, if a remote is not reachable we get
`api error (status = 400: client error (Connect))`
not sure if we want general error<->message mapping, but I don't think
that's in scope for this series

yes, we do the same in the resource tree of a cluster, removing
node/cluster entries from the tree would lead to potentially odd
tree structures
