[PVE-User] Convert linked clone to template

Hi there,

I've made a template and create a linked clone from this.
Since I've done many change on the clone, I'd like to convert this clone to a template.
Can I simply convert this VM into a template and delete the old template ?

Hi,
you cannot delete a template as long as there are linked clones for it, 
and if you convert a linked clone to a template it is still a linked clone.

You can create a full clone of the linked clone first. Then convert that 
to a template and delete the linked clone and the old template.
