For now, I'm also in favor of putting this under the "Remotes" menu.
I also think that such installed hosts will often be added as remotes to
this PDM after installation, and "Remotes" is generic enough that it's
also appropriate for installations that won't be added as remotes.

However, moving it elsewhere or restructuring the "Remotes" menu so that
the submenus for panels/actions for all remotes and the actual remote
instances are separate might still be warranted in the mid/long term,
especially if a lot more remote-related content is added in the future.
For now, though, the current structure works well, so adding a new tab
under "Remotes" is the best option to avoid larger restructuring, which is
then IMO better done for a next (major) release, as that's a clear cut and
then, the feature set should be also a bit more complete and we should
have lots more experience and user feedback to make a good decision on a
more permanent menu/navigation layout.
