Subject: [PVE-User] Question on Enabling Disk I/O after disk is in use
Date: Thu, 6 Jul 2023 14:04:53 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <CA+U74VN6KamAmMepaRzO4haiHb0Bhnnkn8GAbHdijfA2AXrhdg@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hey Folks,
I recently upgraded some hypervisors from spinning disks to using SSD
storage. The VMs were created without SSD or Disk I/O settings
enabled. Any thoughts on enabling these settings for disks, would I
have to turn off the VMs first or what would the implication be if
done while VM is running?
I have a some VMs that are heavy disk i/o usage and want to increase
performance where possible.
Thanks.
JR
