[yew-devel] [PATCH yew-widget-toolkit v2 0/2] use Schema to populate field properties

[Hannes Laimer]

The idea is to have things like description or enum/selection items only
specified in one place.

This preparatory for a series adding basic firewall intergration
into PDM, so this is not used anywhere currently. But this also makes
sense on its own so I am sending it separate from that.

please correct me if I'm wrong, but just adding the tip to the 
properties alone wouldn't do anything on its own.

You have to at least use it in the 'view' method, e.g. like this:

[yew-devel] [PATCH yew-widget-toolkit v2 2/2] form: add schema() builder funtion to checkbox, number and field

This will use the passed schema to populate properties of the form
field depending on what type of schema is passed. The idea is to only
have things like validation, help texts/description or selection items
specified once. Namely in the Schema definition.

These .schema() builder functions are guarded by the proxmox-schema
feature.

proxmox-schema related code is in proxmox-yew-comp ...
