Subject: [pve-devel] [PATCH installer] d/control: record util-linux-extra as dependency
Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2025 20:03:19 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20251219190412.311329-1-c.heiss@proxmox.com> (raw)
In unconfigured.sh, we use waitpid(1) from util-linux-extra, which
currently is not pulled into the installer environment.
It only triggers under certain circumstances. The `command not found`
can be e.g. triggered by starting the auto-installer with an unreachable
answer server - which would drop users into the debug shell, then
pressing Ctrl+C will hit the `waitpid` path in `real_reboot`.
